ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome! My name is Lisa. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Associate Addictions Counselor and Clinical Art Therapist.  It is my belief that one of the bravest things that you can do is to explore and understand your own story. I continue to be passionate in working with adolescents, young adults and adults struggling with mood related disorders, addictions, attachment style issues and complex trauma through integrative care for over ten years. My extended expertise lies in  evidence base therapeutic modalities with a mindful and person-centered approach to meet your individual needs. As a Registered Clinical Art Therapist (ATR) I help others broaden their awareness though clinical art therapy techniques, to aid in personal insight and healing when it may be hard to find the words. Art is a passion of mine as well, and I find there is a great sense of self-discovery in the process.

I will work alongside you, not to solve your problems, but to create a safe space where answers can emerge through therapeutic collaboration. My hope is to help you support yourself in aligning with your true self to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life. It is my goal to help you through this time to gain new tools where you feel supported during our therapeutic relationship that provides you the foundation for change to continue to thrive on your own.
ABOUT

I have a personal experience with recovery, which I sought in 2013. This has enabled me to have unique perspective on the feelings of powerlessness within the family unit as well as individually. This personal experience allows me to provide my clients with tools for resliency's, that otherwise would not be accessable from my graduate studies alone. I believe the best healers are the ones that have found their light within the darkness and have made it to the other side. I am here to offer you guidance towards finding your own light, as you make your way back to your true self.  I understand the challenges of seeking help, the dedication required to build a life of prosperity and contentment, and the importance of honesty with oneself. My specialized skill set combines a deep understanding of the disease model of addiction with a genuine desire to assist those struggling to cope with these challenges and make sustainable changes.
